What is HSKK?
The HSK Speaking Test evaluates candidates' ability to express themselves in Chinese, orally. It is equivalent to Level I and Level II of the Chinese Language Proficiency Scale for Speakers of Other Languages and Level A of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF). Candidates who can successfully pass the HSK Speaking Test (Primary Level) can comprehend and use familiar everyday expressions and respond to specific communication needs.
The HSK Speaking Test (Primary Level) is intended for students who have studied Chinese for 2-3 academic hours per week for 1-2 semesters. These students have acquired approximately 200 words that are frequently used. The HSK Speaking Test (Intermediate Level) is intended for students who have studied Chinese for 2-3 academic hours per week for 3-4 semesters. These students have acquired approximately 900 words that are frequently used.
When and where will the HSK exams take place?
The exams will take place on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the University Campus of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (the exact location will be announced in due time).

The Confucius Institute at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as one of the HSKK examination centers, organizes the exams for HSKK Primary and HSKK Intermediate levels.
Who can take the exam?
All interested individuals can take the HSKK through the Confucius Institute at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, not just our students.
What is the cost of the exams?
The exam fees are as follows:
HSKK Primary: 80 euros, HSKK Intermediate: 90 euros
What is the procedure?
- You go to the examination website (chinesetest.cn), find the examination center 'Confucius Institute at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki,' and select the HSKK level you want to take.
- You must pay the examination fees before April 10, 2022. Otherwise, your participation will be automatically canceled.
- Please ensure that all your information is correct. If you haven't paid the examination fees yet, you can access the platform to update your personal information. After paying the examination fees, please contact us for confirmation. Kindly send us a copy of your deposit (in PDF format) to confucius-institute@auth.gr.
- Your participation ticket for the exams will be ready on the Monday of the examination week, and you will be able to find and print it from the platform.
When will the exam results be announced?
On June 1, 2022, candidates can log into the platform (www.chinesetest.cn), enter their personal examination ticket number and their name, and view their results. Printed results will be sent to the Confucius Institute at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki 45 days after the examination day. Candidates can collect them with their identification and examination ticket.
