What is HSK and HSKK?

Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK), an international standardized Chinese language test.
assess the abilities of non-native speakers of Chinese to use Chinese in their daily, academic and professional life. The HSK consists of six levels, namely HSK (Level I), HSK (Level II), HSK (Level III), HSK (Level IV), HSK (Level V) and HSK (Level VI).

The HSK speaking test (HSKK) assesses the oral Chinese skills of the examinees. The HSKK consists of three levels, the HSKK (primary level), the HSKK (intermediate level) and the HSKK (advanced level). The HSKK is administered in the form of a recording.

Announcement: Examination participants must pass both HSK3 and HSKK Primary in order to receive the HSK3 certificate.

When and where will the examinations be held?

The examinations will be held on the campus of the Aristotle University on March 16, 2024.

How to register and take the exam?

Visit www.chinesetest.cn to register online. When registering, examinees should choose to register at the HSK "Confucius Institute at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki" examination centre, select and register for the HSK level they wish to attend. Please save your username and password, as you will need to use them to find your admission ticket and results from this website.

How much does it cost and how to pay?

  • HSK 1 - 50 euros
  • HSK 2 - 60 euros
  • HSK 3 + HSKK Primary - 160 euros
  • HSK 4 + HSKK Intermediate - 190 euros
  • HSKK Primary - 80 euros
  • HSKK Intermediate - 90 euros

How to get your Test Admission ticket and test results

The admission ticket for the examinations will be issued to the candidates by the respective examination centre ten days before the examinations. Examinees can use the same details to log on to www.chinesetest.cn to be informed about the result of the examination (after 10 days for HSK; after 25 days for HSKK). Examinees can also request that a printed score report be sent to them by post or to their institutions using the Extra Score Report service.
