What is HSK and HSKK?

The Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK), an international standardized test of Chinese language proficiency, assesses the ability of non-native speakers of Chinese to use Chinese in their daily, academic and professional lives. The HSK consists of six levels, namely HSK (Level I), HSK (Level II), HSK (Level III), HSK (Level IV), HSK (Level V) and HSK (Level VI).

The HSK Speaking Test (HSKK) assesses the oral Chinese skills of the examinees. The HSKK consists of three levels, the HSKK (primary level), the HSKK (intermediate level) and the HSKK (advanced level). The HSKK is administered in the form of a recording.

When and where will the examinations be held?

The examinations will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at the Confucius Institute at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (The location and time of each examination will be announced on the admission ticket).

How to register and take the exam?

Visit www.chinesetest.cn to register online. When registering, examinees should choose to register at the HSK examination centre "Confucius Institute at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki", select and register for the HSK level they wish to attend. Please save your username and password, as you will need to use them to find your admission ticket and results from this website.

Note: Before registering, make sure your system and environment meet the requirements of the exam; the exam fee is non-refundable if it is determined that the exam environment, exam equipment, or other conditions violate the requirements. How will you receive your exam ticket and results?

The admission ticket for the examinations will be issued to the participants by the respective examination centre ten days before the examinations. Examinees can use the same details to log on to www.chinesetest.cn to be informed about the result of the examination (30 days after HSK; 25 days after HSKK). Examinees can also request that a printed score report be sent to them by post or to their institutions using the Extra Score Report service.
