Challenges, Practices, and Narratives
The Confucius Institute of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki invites researchers and practitioners in the field of research in Chinese language teaching and communication from Greece, China and other countries to participate in the conference 'Research in Chinese Language Teaching and Communication Across Borders: Challenges, Practices and Narratives,' to be held on 13-14 October 2023 at the KEDEA, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Hall II, in person and online.

Connecting Greece with China through Education
The Confucius Institute was established at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in December 2018, and it is a collaboration between AUTh, Shanghai International Studies University (SISU), and the Center for Language Education and Cooperation.
The Confucius Institute is a non-profit educational organization that started its operation in the academic year 2019-2020 with the main purpose of contributing to the preservation and promotion of the intellectual heritage and creativity of the two countries through Chinese language courses.
Its mission is to teach and promote the Chinese language, develop joint educational and research programs between universities, and promote Chinese culture through various cultural and educational events accessible to the wider community of AUTh and Thessaloniki.
